It's seems to be a [very] poor attempt at creating a webpage with a form for an offline service. (Not much in the way of hacking, per se)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is just a cobbled together CMS front-end with clip art icons and generic photos for what appears to be a proof-reading service, am I correct? Or am I missing some sort of technological breakthrough?

It's a fair assessment. In my view version 1.0 should be a MVP that addresses the basic needs of the user as they pertain to the underlying system. Decoupling the UI and applying it to the system via API is the ideal solution, but rarely do

85% UI polished?!? It's a miracle if some people can get it to look 50% complete. For some reason, and by magic, the UI incrementally degrades given the number of days in the hands of certain engineers. I'm not saying that everyone is like

You have to separate business events from community events. I never take offense to not being invited to a business event, even one held in-house, where management is looking to schmooze with potential investors, partners and clients. Manag

You're right. My sister lived on Northwest St. up in Portsmouth for a number of years. I'd visit about 3 or 4 times a year. Never once visited the Albacore. I just have no interest in subs. But I'm sure Peter's Palace around the corner saw

But I'm not the average person and my time is better spent visiting things of value, to me, in a foreign city. It doesn't make me any better of a person to visit Navy Pier, Pier 39, Pier One, Anthony's Pier Four or Piers Morgan just because

I have to say that I'd really like to see the data on that. This looks like an unpersonalized kitchen sink attempt to cover everything. You can buy/rent/scrape all the locations, with geo data, from a variety of resources.
