Yes it's a solution for the http api but I was interested in the MySQL interface. Thanks for pushing it to the team :)

I was falling in love... Until I discovered authentication is not yet supported!! It's a critical feature for adoption, please include it in your roadmap :)

I'm talking about my personal experience, on blackblaze the number of 500 errors was simply not acceptable for my use case, likewise for performance and latency. I was a bit disappointed by bunny cdn rps/latency. But indeed price

Blackblaze reliability and performance are below aws, same for bunny cdn. Although I understand it can be interesting for some use cases where perf/reliability is not critical.

Like everything from Google I'm too worried that it will be deprecated or evolution to be incompatible with previous versions to touch it. Google might have the human power to rewrite their codebase every 6 months... But I don't.

I have a bootstrapped business started in 2016 doing something like 12k/month in MRR but also doing 35-50k/month in consulting around it. The consulting side is not at all MRR but it's pretty stable. So even if MRR is not gr

About 500 rps max? That seems pretty low, I can easily do something like 25k rps with 1 cpu using clickhouse for the same scenario. Am I missing something?

I tried Azure 1 year ago and I was really shocked to see failures to deploy basic things like VMs or AKS, failures that required to contact support to get fixed. And support took several days to answer... WOW

Ruby is good as well, but if you have zero knowledge about it and plan to start from scratch... Maybe not, it's harder to find dev working on it compared to other stacks (python, JavaScript, Go, ... Even C# is more popular)

Nothing wrong with that stack, you will be in full control. Personally I prefer something like react or vue for the frontend and node.js for the backend. The great thing about it it's all in JavaScript so really only 1 language. But it
