Try https://cloudbackend.appdrag.com It's a serverless db (and API builder), with structured types and full sql support, also provide a cool UI, Visual SQL, an API and can be shared to co-workers. You get 500 records for f

I believe JS will be the universal language in the next 5 to 10 years. Other languages will continue to exist but 90% of developers will do JS... I can't wait to quote myself in the future :p

I don't understand why I got a downvote... I'm really excited about cloudflare workers and hope they will overcome the actual limitations to make them usable for more use cases (including mine, this is why I have provided my metri

Cloudflare workers seems amazing and I would love to migrate few thousands of nodejs lambda I have to cf workers... But... I noticed the 1mb limit for the function size, most of my functions are between 1.5mb and 8mb depending on the npm p

This remember me when my free music app was kicked out of the store with 17 other free & legal music apps ... the exact same day when Apple music was published... This is why I hate so much Apple and all their products now.

Ace is probably the fastest code editor, especially for large files. Features are far from monaco but you have to load only 200kb for ace vs 2.5mb for monaco

This is exactly why i'm ok with paying 10x more for AWS. You can speak with them in few minutes, you have a grace period before service shutdown unlike ovh, DO and most others

How do you cache POST actions? Login, create account, search, purchase, ...? All those actions go through the bloated cms It's not unusual to see 1000 to 3000 ms response time on drupal, joomla and wordpress

Except when you don't do cached actions (all POST, like search, create an account, login, purchase, ...) So drupal is not an issue when you serve static content.

Removing jQuery is a curious and unproductive goal to have. You should focus on things that really matter to your users. You should also remove drupal (bloated and low security cms based on php), that's making your site ways more slow

What I love about microservices is isolation and forcing you to do thing well from the beginning. Monoliths tend to become horrible to maintain after few years. On the opposite change one small 50 lines microservice is a lot less risky!
