IEEE 754 can represent integers larger than MAX_SAFE_INTEGER, just not all of them: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double-precision_floating-poin... That's still going to be a greater than 0.1% chance of hitting a

If you're going to extend Go the courtesy of customizing the parser, oughtn't you do the same for Python (and all the languages)? To wit, Python's json module has `parse_float` and `parse_int` hooks: https://docs.p

Sentry is built on-top of Django. It's a good example of a real-world non-trivial code base that has had to adapt as it grew up and scaled up. I haven't looked at the code in a few years, but I used to run it on-premise and found

News articles from 2017 claim the pier will re-open but the restaurant is apparently a casualty of the parallel tunnel addition.

Thanks! We've been to the the Great Machipongo Clam Shack a handful of times. We usually only stop for food on the return trip. Maybe we'll give Stingray's a try this time. http://greatclams.com/

I've been driving my family to Long Island from NC every year for Thanksgiving for the past 20 years. A few years into this, I got really tired of taking I-95, especially once you get north of Richmond. So I started looking into altern

Good find, that fits the symptoms perfectly and is more likely than not a problem with the firewall on the source end (the campus network). Did you email the author?

But then why would the ICMP echo/reply (ping) be allowed through? And how is the initial syn/ack and reply getting through? It's only the second ack that's getting (apparently) blocked.

Indeed, it's right there in the packet capture screenshot. The ack has payload length 0. I've debugged a lot of TCP/IP issues over the years but this one has me scratching my head. The author has done reasonable troubleshooti
