Microsoft no longer sees Linux as a threat because it isn't a threat to their business anymore. Any damage that Linux can do has already been done and can't be changed. So few people use Linux on the desktop that they have no reas

Because almost nobody uses it so they don't care. The only reason they even made WSL was to compete with Mac, and make devices with odd hardware that didn't easily run desktop Linux (like Surface) more appealing to developers.

This is something that has been used for Surface products for a long time and it hasn't been an issue as far as I know.

There's a lot I don't like about Maven, but its a vastly better solution than pip. Support for dev dependencies and no need to manage virtual environments more than makes up for its complexity.

I don't think it's fair to cherry pick 1 github thread and use it as a moral condemnation of an entire software project.

I don't think this is happening, Visual Studio is basically a legacy product at this point. Still developed and maintained, but not a major focus for MS, and they want to push Azure adoption as much as possible so I don't think we

When did the EFF turn into a porn advocacy group? Doesn't seem to really fit with what their core mission is supposed to be. And we should remember that what likely led to this was that there was a large amount of child porn being post

If we're at war, then who are we at war with? Do they even pose a serious threat to the U.S.? Or is this just really about money? Because it seems like it's just about money. And in case you missed it, recent increases to the defe

Making election day a holiday could help, but let's be honest - a lot of people are just going to smoke weed and play video games if they get that day off. It would help but it's not a solution to other issues like voter suppressi
