I can say as someone who made something similar (Docalysis.com) that there's a lot of "secret sauce" in actually getting the outputs to be higher quality, especially with processing larger files. Just today I got another emai

I don't think self-driving car companies need users so badly they'd want to acquire Lyft at a premium, because I don't think they could scale their fleet to Lyft's customer base that quickly. However, if the price is rig

Prop 13 needs to exclude commercial real estate and/or have a reasonably low cap. These companies are avoiding so many millions of dollars in property taxes. It's not fair and punishes the younger generations (and those yet to be

Did you not read the article? It says if they notice a car with reported stolen plates or no plates drive up to the Stanford Shopping Center, they can dispatch police to deal with it right then and there. If they get there quickly enough th

Most criminals in the US aren’t desperately poor or anything. This isn’t like they’re steal bread to feed their hungry children. They mostly just do it because they enjoy it (thrill seeking) or think it’s a way to make more money faster and

That was all true ten years ago too so I don’t think that’s it. What changed is the Queen’s Gambit got popular, then covid caused online gaming to become even more popular, and then there were some things that made chess popular recently li
