I think these states should turn their municipal water and sewer over to private companies and then in a few years of having their toilet back up into their living room while costing them thousands of dollars maybe they will think broadband

Death is the ultimate joke. We spend so much time worrying about it. Avoiding it. Writing poetry and books about it. Maybe, If your a Religious being, even shaping our entire life around it because of the “ultimate judgement” in the end. De

Dollars and cents my man. I really only see this getting worse with IoT devices and more and more tracking. When they finally figured out a reliable way for direct brain to computer interface the human race may be in a dark place indeed.

Except when the voting mechanisms that elect those representatives is badly broken and easily gamed, i.e. gerrymandering districts in the US. There are a lot of things that are a problem with the way the US government is set up. 1) The Sena

I doubt 8K will be as big as a subjective improvement. Things like HDR, 10-bit color depth, and higher display brightness (nits) all contribute to a better image than just a resolution increase.

You don’t need 4 times the bitrate because compression technology scales better than linear the higher the resolution.

I’m not sure the American public at large cares. I don’t think most folks know how much the hand of someone else controls and guides their everyday actions, assumptions, and opinions. That hand being a foreign power or Jiffy peanut butter.
