The old safari is slow and, can you believe it, HN does not fully function! Now, we all know the hardware is premium and this device would probably run linux very smoothly and the touch interface would be a dream. But we can only dream rig

You should add a ‘tap to add to Contacts’ link - I think a vCard would work? I don’t want to send a postcard right now, but I’d definitely like to store the number for later use. It’s actually kind of hard to do that, though, on iOS at leas

I don’t think ‘linear history’ captures everything. In the orgs I’ve worked in, it was important that mainline always (bugs notwithstanding) always be ‘runnable’. Many people (myself included) will happily commit in-progress changes to bran

This italic scrolling was pretty standard on any LED sign in the 80s and 90s. I always assumed that, rather than a stylistic choice, it was just caused by the lines updating one after another because of update or display multiplexing speed.

I’d choose to use Xcode on Mac, but you _can_ write apps in Swift Playgrounds on iPad, and even upload them to App Store Connect for publication in the App Store.

If a change causes problems that were not there before, it obviously wasn’t understood when it was written. Better to back it out _while_ you try to understand things than to leave it in until the situation is fully understood.
