It would be quite concerning :-) That would mean that we eat active pesticides when buying non organic food. Not that it would totally surprise me neither. We do know that organic markets don't need the plastic though. But they might h

Yeah, this is terrible. Obviously the people who want to buy organic and the people who want to avoid plastic the most are probably almost the same group. They know this. It feels like "Fuck you environmental-aware buyers" to me.

You are totally right, I thought Solr was a Lucene fork, but it's actually built on top of Lucene, thanks for correcting me. Both are Apache projects.

My point is that you don't take any more risk if you write emulator instead of emul*tor. You already took the risk explaining what you explained. One character swap doesn't change anything to this. I'm insisting because if yo

I doubt a star will make Nintendo lawyers go "ow nose, they didn't spell out emulator in full, we can't attack them! Damn those star armors!". I don't think it changes anything technically. The only thing this kind

The "code is data" aspect of lisp seems orthogonal to how code is still written as text, and btw lisp is still written using text. You still need to indent all these parentheses. Virtually all programming languages are parsed into

Do you know long it can last unplugged answering requests with insomnia? My old iPad lasts weeks on its battery if I don't use it, I can only imagine it actually sleeps and would not answer network requests in this state.
