Take a few hours to scan the "recently sold" listings on flippa.com and you will have a few answers to that question.

I had mine in 2005 and have spent long hours in front of computers since. Since the surgery, I have always had a slight starburst/glare effect around lights at night In early 2009 I started to notice very slight deterioration in one eye. N

"Houses always go up in value" -- paraphrase of David Allen's "Automatic Millionaire Homeowner" which convinced me to buy a place in Atlanta in 2005. Could've been a lot worse, but taking on a mortgage & furnishing a place at 23 was no

Why not both? I'm sure it's similarly easy in PhoneGap, but here's how easy it is to package a 1 page HTML5 app in Appcelerator Titanium for submission to App Store or Android Market: wv = Ti.UI.createWebView({url:index.html}); win = Ti.UI

I did Park City, Utah. Best snow on Earth and SLC is 35 mins away and has a burgeoning startup scene (even their own YC style program in BoomStartup). Rent is about in the 500 - 600 range. Less if you live 20 south in Heber.

An option: It's almost winter. Ski resorts are hiring. You can meet awesome people in a very low pressure work environment (hey -- a non-college ready made social scene that doesn't cost 40K a year) and have access to head-clearing, soul

Just curious -- why is Berlin rent cheap? Seems like capital cities (or large cities in general), in wealthy Western countries, are generally really steep.

This is a pretty big bummer. Yehuda Katz on Twitter called it an "epic show-stopping bug" and in the linked thread says he says it will prevent him from recommending 1.9.2.
