Yup, and it's interesting to ponder why this narrative gains ground. Especially if we take at face value the claims that undue influence has been exerted for the past few years to ruin free society.

It may well be harmful, but your reasoning seems spurious. It would imply that "marijuana can be so harmful that is made illegal almost everywhere in the world".

It’s so easy to get unlucky with hashtags, am I right? I heard Twitter is working on a program to label hashtags that ignorant people keep taking too literally. It’s baffling that #NotMyPresident would somehow give you the idea that Trump w

So if I sue the state of Hawaii on your behalf and claim your HN username is AnimalMuppet, they would throw that out (as I don’t have standing)?

I doubt that it would help; I don’t think failing in court will be YouTube’s standard. As so many comments remind us, they’re a private company. They don’t have to wait for a court’s opinion. I also think no left-of-center conspiracy theory

The very cynical counter argument is rarely spoken: Owning my things provides value even when I’m not using them, because I benefit from excluding other people (my competition) from using them. Example: The sports car locked in my garage he

Polls should say: “we’re 2/3 confident you will win” and not “there’s a 2/3 probability you will win”. The uncertainty is epistemological; it’s not describing a stochastic process.
