On the contrary, many people do want an echo chamber. I find the key to enjoying my Twitter experience is to differentiate between the threads where people do want a discussion and the ones where they only want to signal how much they agree

I sometimes print things to pdf (often after using developer tools to clean up the page) and save them in Calibre, which lets me save dates, tags, and other metadata with them.

So many times here on HN I see "grandmas" used to mean "people who cannot use a computer at all except maybe to check Facebook". Somehow I never see anyone do this for any demographic category other than age and sex.
