I don't even read testimonials, even if they aren't totally fake, they are likely skewed because they were asked to write them or offered some discount, etc... I also kind of wonder how many people out there are making these last

As others have mentioned the UI needs some work. Pop-up messages, not knowing what stuff costs as I'm adding, etc... Honestly if I was in the market for something like this (overall I like the idea) I wouldn't use this service sin

I deleted my facebook account about a year ago. I got so sick of seeing all the whining, political arguing, hoax type posts, etc... and if I blocked all of the people that did that stuff, I wouldn't have anyone left on there to follow.

I'm confused about what you're asking. You're not talking about bare metal hosting, but you are talking about purchasing a computer? You want to buy it, but also own the rack that's located in someone else's datacen

Maybe I'm slow, but I've seen this a couple times now and went to the website, read the "about" section and I still don't understand what this is or what problem it's solving. I think OS in the name lead me to

I'm not a full time software developer so I'm probably just slow and cumbersome in general. I mainly program in vb.net for any kind of windows app I'm going to distribute for others to use. I also use python a lot for any kin

.NET is alive and well in corporate environments. For web development I'd never choose it, however for Windows apps it's my goto. Visual Studio is great.

When I visit my dad over in Maui, every Tuesday night there is a hippy jam. Have went several times over the years. It used to be this cool thing that you didn't really need an invite for, it was open to all. However unless you knew so

Chappie. (I hope not though) I'm not thinking we're going to have any real AI any time soon, but I do think we are going to be seeing robotic ground soldiers real quick. Once they are tested on the battlefield they'll surely

For me if they would lower the prices of their msdn subscriptions I'd dev for their OS more. $699/year is the cheapest option to have access to their OS's for testing. That's pretty expensive in my opinion.

I would talk to your boss asap about this. It will likely take some time for them to run it up the flagpole to get approval if they are on board, etc... Good luck with the job and the move.

I use Windows every day at work. I work in IT and we're a Windows's shop. Last June I was looking for a laptop and a real nice display was important to me. I went with a MacBook pro with retina. I can say that in my experience Win

For those that didn't see, the original title of this post was "Why use classes at all in python" and not what it is now. Apparently the author thought a dictionary was as useful and could do anything a class object can.

It's kind of ironic that this article praises IE, yet the article itself doesn't display properly in IE. The main article content is covered by the current projects. Works fine in Chrome though.

I looked at several jobs and they said they were looking to hire people for specific offices. So are these ones that should be flagged as they don't appear to be "remote"?

I use mandrill as well and it's been really good. Easy to setup, reliable, good features to monitor things, etc... And free for up to 12000 emails/month. Pretty reasonable after that. Otherwise you could just send through a gmail

It really depends on the problem you're trying to solve. I write a lot of programs that are used to troubleshoot other software. I need to be able to access the local file system and the OS.

This ^^^, Even when looking on our own internal job posting board where I work, you can never find out how much a job pays, or even a range until you've been offered a position. Wastes tons of peoples times.

Our company is looking into Eagle Eye for cameras at our network of testing centers. Pretty slick product from what I've seen so far.

I just read up on that, and looks like they did just pass a law that they can't ask you on the initial application, but then can weed you out later. IMO that's a horrible law that will end up costing businesses a lot of money, and

Yes, I dislike the whole iTunes thing all together. I'd like to be able to just plug it in and move files around like it's a drive. (like my android phone) I also really dislike iTunes a media player on my MacBook. Love my mackboo
