Ignoring the multiuser issue, could not some javascript be injected that displays "crash" instructions (or even just closes the tab) in the event the server becomes unresponsive? I'm not a web dev, but this sounds feasible.

It does though, assuming that machina is doing virtualization for zircon. Or am I confused? If I'm understanding correctly, this would work the same way that the GNU/Linux termina VM is booted when using crostini currently.

This! Open source helps protect users' freedoms. However, I am sympathetic when you're talking about software that needs to be run server side. Because in that case, you almost always have to deploy and manage the infrastructure y

That's fair. What I really want to know is how systemd-nspawn compares to LXC. Reading further, I see that LXD uses liblxc for container management. This comment about LXD using lxc command naming also was helpful: https://n

Does anybody know of a recent (given how quickly this space moves) comparison of LXD vs systemd-nspawn? I assume that the latter has less features given the primary reason for its existence is to test systemd, but I'd love to know more

I worked at Digium from 2008-2011. Digium employed some really great programmers and I obtained a solid starting foundation for my career as a developer hacking on Asterisk in C. Definitely enjoyed my time there. Going back to around that t

Similarly, there's tmate which sets up a shared tmux session and proxies the SSH connection so it works through NAT without issue. If you don't trust the connection going through tmate.io you can set up your own server.
