As a former alcoholic, ethanol is the worst garbage there is. You might as well hit your toes/whatever with a hammer - there's the pain, the near instant release of morphine and the (very long) hangover :D It is in our nature to d

No, it doesn't, I meant they'll either actually try to help or give you paracetamol/ibuprofen and maybe tell you to come back in 2 months

Looking at bigger/higher res monitors getting worse "ratings" over here (obviously they use more power lol), yeah these labels are dumb as hell.

On the bright side, there's more opportunity and mobility in the UK. Just have to get off your ass and hustle. But that's something most people don't use or even like. A stable job and better safety nets are preferred, and he

Belgium's system works way better than the Netherlands (or Germany's, both are very similar) btw. It's pretty good.

I'll just say that it's still better than the German system. Same ridiculous waiting times for a 50/50 chance to just get a paracetamol prescription. Private is expensive as hell, nonexistent or not usable. Mental healthcare?

I hear it's still possible, through heretic magic, to limit a CPUs power draw and most importantly, it will not affect speed on any level (load will increase). There's even people selling their souls to the devil for the ability t

And it's a great idea, good thought. I used bicycles in cities where it was possible. But that, and public transportation, only goes so far. A personal car gives incredible freedom, especially to the poor. Suddenly they can live afford

Yes, I've started using illegal, what many consider "heavy" drugs just this year and it is changing the absolute trainwreck of a life I've had. I only regret putting it off for so long because y'know, drugs are bad

People arguing for restricting others' freedoms while enjoying them themselves is what I see. Good old genocide is the ultimate conclusion to that and undeniably the most effective option.

Mobile Reddit, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, Facebook, pretty much any poor man's digital crackeine, have it figured out. Yeah, it's a wonderful new Web that makes you apply forehead to brick wall.

Many bureaucracies took "throughput, latency, user friendliness" personally. So, out of sheer spite, they decided that should mean "the slowest, least responsive, least friendly thing ever so people give up and piss off"

As individuals, and even as companies, we can't do much. Worrying about it is just stressing for no benefit to anyone. Governments, elected by the citizens, need to address such strategic concerns. And they actually do. In case it'
