I'm not saying you should be able to post unlimited numbers of them, but saying zero is very limiting to consumers and creators. Even 5/mo is probably enough for most legit use cases

Why? I bought a book direct from the author, and I liked it enough that I wanted to leave a review. The only place I could think of was Amazon. That was an "unverified purchase", but it was still legit.

I am in the same situation. You have my sympathy. The desks here have docking stations, but because I am a contractor I don't receive the same laptop as FTEs. Of course, it isn't compatible with the docks, and so I can't just

Does it have to support its entire weight? At some point, won't the pipe have enough centrifugal force that would be supporting it?

In didnt say it would be easy, but neither is sending 100 people to mars. I'm not engineer, but wouldn't a pipe be easier to build than an elevator?

Any reason why you couldn't put a tanker in geo-sync orbit connected to a very (very) long fuel pipe somewhere on earth? The idea being you can pump fuel up instead of launching it? Kind of like a space elevator for fuel! :)

It is because you loose the "trigger" that it is time to leave. There are definitely things I would rather be doing, and I wouldn't say working late has to do with passion. My wife calls it "being in my own little world&

From what I see in Seattle, young people are moving in to the city, but middle-aged people are moving out. Just try buying a mean house in the suburbs around here. The competition is crazy. Sure, the ratio of IN:OUT probably leans toward IN

To me, it is an odd domain choice. I read it as "dot dot net" and I can't imagine I am the only one... Something like code.net or develop.net or even get.net makes more sense to me.

Just know I am grossly simplifying it. :) The point I want to get across if that if you learn one, you already know the other. Any new project I make will be using Core. It is the direction .net is headed.

Really, it wouldn't matter. At this point, think of Core as a subset of asp.net. It has quite a few APIs removed for cross-platform functionality. If you know one, you can easily move to the other
