Really? I thought it sounded more like KISS and what Apple have been doing: Making software accessible to the (amateur) enduser. (E.g. the iWork and iLife suites as well as many iOS-apps) Sure, some people might need advanced tools for th

It isn't working because (...) is just matching 3 characters. What your regex is saying, is basically: Match any 3 characters, then any character 0 or more times, then any 3 characters. You're reusing the regex and not the match.

Which is why you setup your shell (bash/zsh/fish) to check for the existence of $SSH_CLIENT. If it exists, you can assume you're connecting via SSH and add username and hostname to $PS1.

Exactly. I should've mentioned that. You can't run IDEA with only Oracle JRE 7. You need to install Apple's JRE 6 too.

Wouldn't you need to decrypt, on a jailbroken device, it to get something useful out of the assembly? Or is that not needed for disassembling?

Mike West, developer advocate at Google Chrome in Münich, had a great talk, recently at GOTO Aarhus, where this was mention. The talk was focused on security and mentions the new sandboxed iframes[1]. With the inline iframe, iframe's c

This is one of the reasons I ended up using the Mac app Movist (which was once open source, but later redone to be on the Mac App Store for $5). I actually mainly use this because of better shortcuts and because of its subtitle handling.

I'd go for iOS 6 books to get you started. Later you can join the (free) developer account [1] and watch some of the WWDC-videos about why and what Apple has changed in iOS 7. [1]: https://developer.apple.com/register&#
