I'm trying it out. I love it so far. Couple ideas for paid features: - A chart showing uptime vs. downtime. I just like charts. - Ability to display server details like host etc. - Optional notifications via cell phone text - Ability to aut

Crap... if you could develop a decent compression algorithm that tossed out all the sleeping, masturbating, eating, wandering around aimlessly, sitting there stoned out of my gourd, and posting stupid stuff to the internet, I bet you could

I don't really think this guy understands the 80/20 rule at all. He seems to be very young.

If you're loading an image that's 100k+ you want a preloader on there so people know what's going on. It's not going to magically appear instantly because you've compressed the image to shit and removed the preloader.

It's just such a simple app I think you should be able to sum it up in that first blurb. And maybe separating the phone# and the PIN would simplify it a bit. something like "Call this number to begin a conference call: XXX-XXX-XXXX. This

It's nice. It's not initially clear exactly what it is or how to use it, but I think that would be rather simple to fix. Keep it simple when you start working on the visual front.

It seems awfully true to me. Of course, just because you can't talk some one out of it doesn't mean they are indeed writers. You kinda need to be able to spell.

Wow, so you just posted their email to you on the web and then posted links to it? What are you, the pirate bay? This was an opportunity for you to educate your client on the design process, and you not only failed, you embarrassed yourself

I think all you can do as a designer is get the basic idea across in a 5 second read. Beyond that, it is a partnership between the end user and the site content to answer those questions. Personally, I don't want all your questions answered

To reiterate, I don't think it being a matter of not-enough-services. I think its a matter of organization. Put the cake teaching lesson under cooking or something. I would probably focus the home page on 6 or 8 primary categories with four

I like it, but already think of it as elance for people without marketable skills. That's probably just because the user population is low, but when the front page is littered with auctions like 'learn how to bake a cake' or 'make a cornhol

I like the idea. But. The logo is really not very appealing, and it doesn't say anything about the project. It doesn't add anything to the site, which in my mind means it detracts. Your brand identity should definitely NOT detract from your

Opening it up is top on the to do list. The private alpha taught me a lot, including that the private part was not a great idea. Keeping it locked up is a huge deterrent. But even that takes a rails developer - which I am not. There are for
