A fun thought exercise to break the "can't do it" perspective. Imagine someone says they'll give you 10 million dollars to get it done, could you do it then?

+1 it seems like to combat FB events here, you don't need a service in the first instance. You need a standard that's accepted and used by significant parties. Likely someone like Fastmail could push this forward, but you'd w

It's not obvious from the title, but this is Uber in Australia. Australia doesn't have a culture of tipping generally, because we expect that people are getting paid a living wage by their employers. Not just a minimum wage, one t

Not really personally. The telcos have an interest in making this not a thing, and I have strong hopes that any solution based on this concept would be put out of business by fixing it at that level. There are laws in the US about this too,

Speaking from experience and having seen a few of these data points personally (possibly over-indexed on a small amount of data), often this comes down to making a choice of 220 with a 50% utilization vs 165 with 70%. Pretty much the same r

I'm more inclined to say that the real solution to this is to make it expensive for the callers by having a service that answers the call every time and tries to keep the caller on the line wasting their time. There's obviously an
