The captcha was introduced to Project Euler a few years ago in response to someone spamming the site with requests to check an answer. Apparently, someone had trouble with a question, so they wrote a script to submit every possible number.

I think the key is to get used to hitting Ctrl+space to do everything. Pretty much everything that Light Table is capable of is through that interface.

There's is an indicator: When you choose a subscription frequency, "Subscribed!" appears beneath the box. It disappears after just a few seconds, though. That might be why you missed it.
