Maintaining abs doesn’t necessarily require a ton of work time-wise, but does require you exercise consistently and closely watch what you eat. I used to have very visible abs and honestly it didn’t feel worth it. I like bread too much!

Old articles frequently reach the top of HN. There are many great articles that people only discover now rather than when they were originally posted.

I love seeing these types of articles on HN! I love it when someone smart actually does the math on some silly topic :D

Perhaps age might also be a factor? Female fertility peaks in a woman's 20's. (And yes, I realize we're all being a little shallow and tongue-and-cheek here)

So I'm an actual "6/6/6"... and I also have a statistics degree. This was absolutely hilarious to read! I will say that I've seen multiple definitions of the 666 rule where the last 6 represents either penis le

I’m curious, are many people using Zed as their daily driver in their professional work? (Not just in side projects)

It's interesting reading the comments criticising this page's scroll behaviour. I didn't realize how many people scroll webpages without a mouse... This is good to know!

Interesting! I didn't know about the 'pool' section of HN. Would you mind explaining to us how it works?

What implications might an AI crash have on the software developer job market? It’s likely that many AI software companies would fold and thus have to layoff their employees, but what would be the implications for the rest of the tech job m

Makes sense. You can also iterate faster without the hassle of getting your extension approved on the chrome store, etc.

I think the amount of upvotes you’re getting here suggests that it might be worth building a proper browser extension for this! Would you be interested in making one?

Whether I watch anything while eating usually depends on how mentally-spent I feel. For example, if I'm eating breakfast alone in the morning, I'm usually feeling pretty energetic and have a bigger appetite for stimulation. I migh

What made you realize you'd never amount to a decent mathematician? For me, it was a course in Real Analysis haha

I actually like Docker Desktop a lot, but then again, I've never tried any alternatives. Perhaps I'll give Podman a shot one of these days!

It's funny, I was curious about a past SO survey and then just so happened to notice that their 2026 was live. I thought it'd be worth sharing :)

The site doesn't appear to be working for me. When I click "Founders" for example, it says "Showing Founders posts" but doesn't ultimately render anything.

I guess a more concise question might be "what would a Claude Code for non-technical users look like?" Do you have any ideas for what that could look like? It's interesting to think about.
