This is not a good idea, IMHO. First, you're still using the WordPress API so you have to know that to begin with. If you want to do X, you have to figure out how to do X with WP, then learn Y in Cutlass to do X. You're essentiall

I finished a 2-month full-stack JS class here in Seattle in June and really enjoyed it. I am/was primarily a LAMP stack/WordPress developer and wanted to expand my mind and skill set a bit. I was one of 2 or 3 people in the class

This looks great! I was thinking of something similar last year but much simpler. I just wanted a single place to check all incoming requests. Not even a complete inbox, just a place all the notifications could go. Any plans to hook into Wo

This is one of the most level-headed and accurate criticisms of WordPress I've ever seen, thank you for that. I'm a mostly-WordPress developer (for now) learning NodeJS and seeing how all of these things combine to make the ecosys

Sorry for the delayed response. The molecules I was making took up to a week to build. All-day and overnight reactions made me impatient. I'd spend a day researching the procedure, then a day setting up and getting the reaction started

I'm also a chem -> programming convert. The explosions I didn't mind; it was the impossibly long production cycles that got me. After a year of work, I shelved a whole book of research notes with not so much as a mention. These

I use e-junkie as well. Their UI is horrendous and there are a few features that are not listed in the admin section (support will clue you in) but they are generally reliable and just do the job (for very cheap). That said, I'm moving

I don't know that batching the alerts would solve the problem, I want to be able to ping these services to determine unread counts at that point in time. I'm, of course, just assuming that these are available via API from the serv

I want a batch notification service. Every 15/30/60/90/configurable minutes (or on request), the service would ping all my communication channels and give me a summary on a page or to a mobile app. I don't have noti

That makes sense. I sold mine to a VW dealership that does a lot of used cars sales. It was in great condition so I was pretty certain they would sell it. I as given a good trade-in number so I took it.

If you sell to a dealership that will sell the car themselves, you have some wiggle room on the trade-in price because you're cutting out 2 middlemen (wholesaler and auction). Also, don't forget the tax benefit you get by the lowe
