I've never heard of this. If someone is making you take a two hour test, you should probably just walk away from the interview. They clearly have no value of your time.

Honestly, the answer is people. Spend time talking to people who have these skills. IRCs are a decent option, but if you can actually work with people it's way better.

I don't understand why anyone would use this. I've never been anything but angry when I received a text message from a business. I've never met anyone who likes receiving text messages from businesses.

I would never want to work with a person like that. If one of my coworkers wrote an email that abrasive and outright mean, I would request to be transferred to a different project.
