That's a really good point. A minified that output code directly optimised to gzip efficiently would be a great thing

I often think react seems like the perfect use case for a graphical tool - you could write all the components yourself, so have total confidence in the markup, and just assemble them and add events etc through the gui

It's a little thing, but it's surprising how many people don't - if you've got a lot of work on and a someone's emailing you about something that isn't a priority at the time it's far too easy not to bothe

Holy cow, the addition of a set of legs costs an additional $250?! Who the hell could ever justify such a price increase to save a bit of worktop space?

Why on earth don't people test these things on their own websites to make sure the output is good?? There was another thing on HN the other day (I think it was websites -> word docs or something) and it half-assed it's own home

I don't understand that - if Gmail opens images ahead of time and caches them, then how will you know when a customer has actually opened the email?

Why are people so hung up on the url? What's important is the information that you can access. Its like describing Facebook as a set of urls for people

Surprised to see this made it to the front page of HN, these logos look pretty poor to me. I'd imagine any old logo generator could spit out something superior to these in a few minutes

Ah forget that, as usual it's immediately obvious after I post that I don't understand! Looks like I had a bit of a mental block and couldn't see the top buttons for some reason - I was looking at the close links. Yup that al

How does the browser know which modal is targetted though? I thought :target had to match the hash, but both links just link to # :S

The problem with using css this way is that it's not as obvious what's supposed to happen as it is when using js. I'd love for there to be some explanation within the examples of _why_ they work - I've just been reading

It might be an idea to add that there's a free tier to the Plans & Pricing section, rather than just in the FAQ. That might give an indication of what to expect from the free trial as that isn't clear. I think you could make b

Quite frustrating that this currency seems to rely on a game yet the whitepaper never seems to specify what it is. Since the game is supposedly too difficult to write an AI for I'd be extremely curious to hear more about it. (also unfo

You could always just pick a number that you want to use and repeat/trim the name? So if you picked 9 you'd use AMAZONAMA as the base for amazon, but HACKERNEW for hacker news?
