"sunsetting" is better than corp-speak saying "handing it off to community maintenance" Especially, if there isn't a dedicated community to maintain it. I'll take honesty over corp-speak any day. That said we p

Yeah, the part of the Danish Job market that is a game between unions and employers, can really suck if co-workers aren't unionized. Like there is no minimum wage in Denmark. And a unions ability to blockade an employer whose employees

Yeah, Danes (including me) like to think all is well, and while it's pretty good -- there are lots of things that could be better!

Or maybe we just need to make better websites, so there more good content for the search engines to find. We expect everything to be online. But I suspect that for many queries, we get garbage results because that's all there is.

Curious, if you delete the stub in ~/.ssh/id_ed25519_sk, can you then recover the key? Or does the on-the-fly key generation use random bytes stored in the stub?

Most providers also let you create recovery codes. Or signup for TOTP which gives you a QR code. Print those out and store them somewhere. Then if you loose your yubikey you recover access with those. If you're too lazy to print them,

Reading Wikipedia on monkeypox, there have been multiple outbreaks before, outbreaks that we never heard about. Supposedly, we're better at tracing now, if it really blows up we're better prepared than ever before.

I suspect healthcare providers won't give you a price before they are done, because they don't know what it'll cost. If they open you up, they might have a complication or run into some other issue that must be fixed before c

This is just the cost of a meeting. The opportunity cost is a different factor, it's the cost of not doing what the dev would otherwise be doing. Given that your not hiring devs to make up hours lost to meetings, the opportunity cost i

Just saw someone else linking to railway.app, curious how does the scaling work? The pricing showed a lightweight website priced at less than 1 CPU / month -- is there some undocumented fractional scaling going on?
