So dogs don't deserve to be locked up all day inside, but kids, and people, do? Humans are happy outdoors. Children need to be outside exploring, playing, figuring out the earth and nature, not sitting inside on iPads all day. Just bec

Huh? This doesn't make any sense. There is no IP right that lets you prevent non OEM parts to be installed in a product. If that were the case mechanics would all be out of business. There must have been another issue here.

I don't think HK cares that much about US relations. They can defer to China to help get their way if they need it for trade related matters. I don't think they will want to be seen as caving to US pressure here.

So how much did writing this comment cost you? We're not all as busy as we make ourselves out to be. People love to give others the impression they are swamped in order to say "no," not the other way around. "No, I can&#

I never said NYU is all rich kids. That's obviously not the case given so many are going into debt to attend. What I'm trying to say is it's "intended for rich kids." People who have to borrow $200k just for tuition

You'd kill for one but would you go into $200,000+ more debt for it? That's kind of a ridiculous notion. Study in a cheap small town at an excellent public university for $35k vs NYU at $250k+? No thanks, I could just fly first-cl

I'm clearly referring to undergraduate education. People with solid state school options shouldn't choose NYU unless they are rich. You'd be a fool to give up in-state @ Univ of Texas undergrad for NYU, for example.

Charity is very profitable for many elites especially in places like NYC and DC. Just because they don't distribute dividends doesn't mean they don't distribute salaries. Most "connected" people here come out of sch

NYU is a school for rich kids. It's a vacation for students who want college fun, but prefer it to be in an urban setting like NYC (and the best part of NY, to be sure), rather than in a small college town with its frat parties and bee

I tested out my new MBA on battery for the first time tonight. It's pretty incredible. Streaming Aereo in HD over wifi the whole time, coding and doing other tasks on normal brightness. I went 4.5 hours before reaching the 50% mark.

I hate car crashes. It's such a waste of life. We have the technology to prevent these, it's just a matter of investing in getting them into every car on the road.

Google does this as well. My dad's small business was shelling out thousands on AdWords per month. Their rep reached out to us, without solicitation, and offered to optimize our ad campaigns. They did so, and saved us at least $1,000 a
