Looks like people cannot set their time zone to UTC. Depending on the device there might not be an UTC equivalent time zone to choose from either, like Reykjavik may not be available on all devices.

Yeah, I had my sample destroyed once the police started using it. They even went so far as to look at records on which people had asked for their samples to be destroyed in a certain case.

What I'm saying is that it's misleading to call one process a web server when they really are saying "How we handle 2 million simultaneous web requests". Also I would be very interested in reading such a writeup. There a

Well that would depend how long you run it for. They don't have to be simultaneous. It wouldnt make much sense to recycle the process for each request however. MaxConnectionsPerChild defines how often the process is recycled

Exactly, also I do not understand the comparison with apache. Apache can be configured to spawn one process per connection. You also could call a thread a "server" in it's own, so it's just a matter of playing with words

I really struggled around 12 months ago. Lots of weird errors and it took down the service unexpectedly when trying to stage it. Really made me regret going with app engine a few years ago.

I really hope they get their tooling problems solved and that they now have some more breathing space. Is the editors always that tight coupled with the rendering engine or can it be used by different map editors?

Exactly, it forces the programmer to think about whether something can be null or not and actually had a behavioural change in my java coding.

We have been using wordpress as a cms with their xmlrpc api since at least 2010. Works great and is easily extensible using hooks. Front end written in java.

From just a quick googling around I've seen estimated costs for a 30 hour work-week the public budget between 86 [1] - 236 [2] billion SEK/year. The total budget last year year was 862 billion. Somewhere that money has to come fro

I'm not against the idea. Was just pointing out that Sweden in general is not moving towards this. Not a single political party is actively driving the 35 hour line which was in the talks a decade ago.

As a swede I think the title is highly misleading. Sweden is not shifting to a 6-hour workday. Sure there are a few experiments but the baseline is that sweden (which has a huge public sector) cannot afford it without raising taxes further.
