Everyone is correct in this thread. The stimulation of discussion is useful, and numbers are arbitrary. Instead of worrying about 5 vs 8 though, the team should be discussing relative difficulty: is story B easier/more difficult/c

No need to go on a limb, .dmg files are usually software installers. But if I'm paying for a backup service that claims to back everything up, I want them to do exactly that, regardless of whether it can be re-downloaded or not (which

If I had known about their filter list, I would've done exactly that. But their implication that everything was backed up from the beginning by default is what got me. ISO files are included in that filter list, among other files like

I found out the hard way that Backblaze, despite their claims of "...automatically back up all your files including documents, photos, music, movies, and more. It’s that easy.", do not back up .dmg files (among others) by default.

I posted this and was wondering how this would affect AT&Ts business at all. If you’re carrier-locked or not, wouldn’t you still have a contract to pay and be on the hook for monthly fees? And if you don’t pay, be forwarded to collectio

One of the things I loved about living in Asia (and traveling to Europe) was all-in prices posted everywhere. Made it so much simpler to add up, and was great paying cash due to the even numbers and lack of change. After moving back to Toro

I ordered a couple of styles a few years ago. They seemed incredibly comfortable but both didn't fit properly due to the lack of half sizes so they were returned. I guess it hasn't affected their valuation much though.

I recently cancelled Evernote after 12 years of paying for it due to their new Electron client. I've been using 1Password since 2008 and I'll be doing the same thing. I have tolerated the UI regressions and even subscription with

1. I can see noise being an issue in Tokyo and Seoul because build quality isn't great and there's not much noise insulation. So you're heavily dependent on neighbours keeping quiet, and I was fortunate to have good ones. Fun

You are describing Seoul and Tokyo perfectly. Despite having tens of millions of people and average densities much higher than most cities, they’re both among the most livable cities in the world. Both of them inherited pre-war street layou

This works extremely well on a motorcycle at any speed above 20 km/h, even under protective gear (the only way I've tested). So well that I actually feel a bit cold at first when it's hot but not extreme (below 30°C).
