I've read loads of stories where people will click through all these protections , tick the box saying they know it's not a scam and lose all their money. Then they go crying to the media complaining that the bank didn't refu

I logged into the SSID and tried to set a password on the interface itself but then apparently it lost connection to their system and needed to be reset. Not sure as to why an electrician can’t just install an Ethernet cable at the same tim

My parents have one of these systems installed - the guy that did it took the password off their WiFi since it "doesn't support it". Even with a password on the home WiFi it defaults to broadcasting it's own open SSID th

I find that the domain registrar takes action more often than not (I guess because they're bound to ICANN's regulations), then the moment the domain is stopped Cloudflare sends an automated e-mail saying that they don't host

I work at an IT provider - we see this daily. Have to whitelist to keep the customer happy, usually the other end is a 1 or 2 person business with an old hosted Yahoo system or similar

Because then the carrier charge about 10x what they'd charge a SIM only customer for the data, and it usually ends up costing more for the handset going through finance than buying it outright

HPE stuff is fine imo, networking stuff is decent and the servers still have some quirks from the HP days but other than that are great.

HP make nice monitors and that's about it, every other product of theirs is utter trash now - I advise everybody I know to steer clear of any of their stuff. They're on my shit-company list, right at the top with GoDaddy.

Because I've hosted websites where blocking datacentre IPs has caused a massive reduction in spam and malicious activity - and tried to use Google search with Mullvad dialled only to be greeted by a CAPTCHA every other search.

It's the reason I use both. Spotify's recommendations and social features are much better than Apple's - but the exclusive DJ sets and recordings of concerts etc are a great value add.

There might also be some legal implications by doing this - in the UK we have to log everything at student ever goes on or searches to be compliant with safeguarding regulation.

Usually you can tell if an HP has this crap preloaded if it has an e on the end of the model number, however this one doesn't seem to? I just avoid anything made by HP, everything from their laptops to printers to servers seem to suck
