Oh, stupid me, didn't take into that into the calculation. The things is that I wrote a school paper years ago on the UAE and back then it wasn't exactly a hidden fact that many workers on the massive construction projects were treated badl

I don't mean to condone the modern slavery in Dubai in any way, but isn't it telling about the conditions in Bangladesh and the Philippines that people volontary leave them to go to the UAE and be treated like dirt.

I would too be very happy to hear a little about the indian dating game, particularly how it works in the bigger metropolises. I've spent a bit of time in Kochi, Kerela, in the southwest, and while I spent most of my time working on our bus

I think this is closely related to ones identity and many people bring some artifact very close to their hart just to be get a feeling of belonging. To talk a little about myself, I'm a die hard libertarian, and I've spent countless hours b

Did you create this account just to comment on this thread? Considering the biased tone of your post, this sounds a bit too good to be true. If you're not connected to the OP in any way and just liked his site, I apologise!

"Silicon valley's successes tend to never start companies again" Really? I thought the opposite was quite true. Marc Andressen, Steve Jobs, Jim Clark etc.

I'd wait for that updated CSS version. The one they showcase on the site looks like Nigerian Spam to me. Not a good way to promote FFX or Chrome.

To expand on PGs comment a little bit. I used to have serious problems with onset insomnia, almost to the point of making me sick. While trying to find a solution, I found that having a few quiet, "boring" hours before I go to bed helps me

I'm afraid that you're correct, but I think there is also a "darker" side to it. As the OP mentions, parents involving their kids in CP crosses class barriers and happens in both poor and rich families. A few weeks ago, I took a primal ther

I think what would make Facebook kick ass is if they could find a way to keep you updated on what happens in groups where there is conversation you actually want to participate in, without blurring your inbox with crap.

Sorry man, it wasn't my intention to ridicule a valid concern about people who get stressed out beyond imagination. I think there is reason for entrepreneurial people to be more open about the negative effects of the emotional roller coaste

Perhaps it just me who's a food nerd, but from the title I thought the article would be about substituting cheap unhealthy fat, like fries, for expensive stuff such as avacados. Which, incidentally, is great way to live healthier.

The Senator may not realise it, but much of the productivity growth in the US has come from technological breakthroughs of first or second generation immigrants. Short-sighted populism is what I would call this.
