We're not complaining about making papers more accessible, but about the clickbait and the resulting misrepresentation.

I do not believe in charity. This is another datum to add to the list. Don't care about no Simons Foundation. Just don't like the clickbait of quantamagazine. Never got anything out of any of their articles, would much prefer if t

Imho you can outright ban quantamagazine articles while you're at it. It's hilarious that there is an intersection of tabloid press and theoretical physics, but it's also a massive waste of everyone's time.

Well, that's the immediate problem if it leaks in your laptop. But OP is probably referring to its ability to dissolve aluminium. Go watch a video on youtube, "gallium vs aluminium" or sth like that, it's quite scary.

No idea where the 600$ come from, they did it with a laptop and a teensy. That article is pretty much garbage, referencing "spiegel", which itself is pretty clueless about this kind of stuff. This whole "elon mode" thing

I don't think that is quite right. Afaik, historically, in japan, green is a shade of blue. And they didn't comply with international standards, they aren't part of the Vienna Convention on Road Signs and Signals.

Most brutalists might have been into socialism but definitely not most socialists are into brutalism. So blaming socialists for the failures of brutalism is logically wrong.

So maybe it was the blind (I'd say ignorant, grandiose, paternalistic) application, and not the principles, that caused the misery? Btw, I'm neither a socialist or proponent of modern architecture. Will call those out for their bs

I don't disagree, but i don't like how you make out socialism as the villain, sounds like you grew up with a lot of cold war propaganda. The absence of socialism means violence and war. If the states had a working social system, c

I've been a melancholic Firefox user since it was called Netscape... Tried Brave on my phone, but it managed to generate 90mb of network traffic in 10min where another browser takes 5mb. No idea what it did, I instantly lost trust.
