I’m not usually one to ask this because learning to do a thing can be fun, but why exactly have you spent 25 thousand dollars on getting an LLM someone else made to answer maths exam questions?

At least some of your extensions will still run in the client editor instance, not on the server side. That limits exposure a bit but when colour themes have been known attack vectors in VSCode it’s far from a panacea.

I suspect the retail stores are using autonomous single app mode, which allows an app deployed on an MDM managed device to take control and force itself to the foreground, disabling screen sleep and other things. I briefly did some reading

There's two layers to this as well. The layer they handle reasonably well is integration between Apple products owned by the same person (less so shared products like Apple TV and HomePods), what they do terribly is dealing with the fa

On macOS at least those 99% of users are probably installing from the App Store, where apps are sandboxed by default and need to explicitly ask for access to paths outside that sandbox. Even when not installed from the App Store a permissio

Yes, that is absolutely a dynamic in managing an engineering team, and I'd argue that knowing the right person to give a particular task to, and how much detail they're going to need to get it done, is what separates good engineer

Some of this will depend on what experience you’ve got. Someone with lots of experience running Linux servers can probably stand up the sort of thing described in this article in a couple of hours from a starting point of being given the Go

Personally for backups I’d avoid using a product provided by the same company as the VM I’m backing up. You should be defending against the individual VM suffering corruption of some kind, needing to roll back to a previous version because

For anything major you're right, you'd expect them to be on the HSTS preload list in people's browsers which forces all requests over SSL which would then pick up an invalid certificate. That doesn't make this harmless t

"The AI is wrong only 3:10,000 times" is a statement screaming out for the follow up question "how often are the humans wrong". Maybe 3:10,000 is astonishingly good, maybe humans are 10x or 100x better, right now I have

Oh that’s an idea. I was going to argue that it’s a problem that you might want multiple instances in different contexts but sandboxing processes (possibly instanced) is exactly what systemd units are designed to deal with.
