Pretty cool application. Exactly how accurate is the AR + Lidar combo when it comes to fitting? For example, if you 3D print a car part after sizing it in 3D, does the printed product match up?

Looks awesome, I've been recently playing Jackbox over Zoom with friends and was hoping to find something different. Will check it out.

I created a web-based video player that adds a slit-scanning 3D effect ( using the edge pixels ) https://github.com/joeycato/boundlessvideoplayer

Thanks! Unfortunately it is currently limited to DRM-free video streams, since the app needs direct access to the video frame in order read the pixels. But in general you should be able to set the ?v= param to other sources. Example: https

Author here! Side projects be can quite therapeutic during these troubling times. This is an app I've really enjoyed tinkering with off and on over the past few months and am now happy to share it with others. The app includes sample v

Awesome post and presentation! I’m very curious if that raw song lyric data is available somewhere, would be fun to analyze it more. Here’s a small project I made that similarly lets you visualize song repetition: http://songbran

Big fan of this magazine growing up. Just noticed that the January '87 cover is titled with "14 Great Minds Predict The Future" Curious to see now what exactly those 30-year-old predictions were :)

Wow, I wonder how long this has been an issue. I recall buying tech books a few years back and noticing that the book quality was pretty low. At the time, I thought it was a general manufacturing decision to save money.

NSIS (created also by Nullsoft) was particularly awesome, made it a breeze to build a Windows installer. There was also a photo gallery script Justin created which I thought was ahead of its time back then.

That's pretty awesome, very easy to read. I've been meaning to get into d3 soon, what is this particular style of graph called?

Oh do you mean auto-complete? Not that easy to support since I'm relying on a remote server for song lyric searches

Love it :) The share buttons actually use the current page you are on, but I can see how it would be much more useful to just update the URL based on the search pattern. Until I fix that, here's an example of how to deep link to a part

Good suggestion, I had thought of having a single field earlier (delimiting artist and title with a '-') but I thought that most users might find it cumbersome. To generate the final graph, I started by more or less splitting the

That's a pretty neat approach, maybe I should do something similar. Originally I color-coded the words (based on frequency) but having a gradual spectrum applied to the edges feels a lot more intuitive.
