I spend most of my time in Ohio and WV. Ohio might as well be in Canada and WV split from Virginia to join the union. Still confederate flags flying in both states. It's not about "heritage" at that point.

All cereals are just loaded with carbs. Some are still marketed as "healthy" though. I think people just like the taste and some of the marketing makes them think it's good for them.

As an Android user I'm still kind of interested in this phone. One thing that bothers me on most phones is the camera sticking out the back. It ends up being the point of contact to every surface you sit it on and sometimes the camera

I had the same experience with the same numbers too. Except I've now been at my current employer for about 5 years, after accepting a matching offer a few times. I would never be anywhere near where I am had I stayed at those first few

In my experience managers tend to have their hands tied as to what they can offer. You may get 3% if you ask for a raise. Companies tend to give managers more options when they are trying to keep an employee from jumping ship. This is all f

"Once you have said "you have an offer" it acts as a flag that at you." I've found this line of thinking to be false but so many employees are afraid of this. If it does happen you just leave again, big deal.

I'm pretty sure the reason is Agile. They don't think it's possible unless you are face to face at a standup. Also, moving people back to offices is a way to thin the herd without firing people.

I did the same and it's really, really stressful being in traffic for that long. Not to mention turning a 9 hour day into a 13. Working remote has really improved my quality of life now.

My assumption that burning and inhaling anything would be dangerous has been proven wrong a few times on HN. Users have posted studies that show no real negative effects of smoking cannabis.

Out of that list, only the Bolt is even close to being the same class and that's based on range alone. If they weren't EVs we wouldn't mention them in the same sentence.
