Looks like, most people here answer to the question "What tech stack are you excited about right now?".

I don't think it has something to do with the community. But rather that GL and BB are losing to GH in terms of UI / UX. Well, at least I wanted to switch to GL long ago, but couldn't due to unsatisfaction by their user inter

Please do something with the fixed header on [1], it wastes 15-20% of screen space on every device that doesn't have at least 1920x1168 resolution. That's not cool. And it would be great to decrease the content block's width

And if I were to make a decision based on HN comments, I'd hire @thro32, no joke. I've read all the comments and their author makes an impression of an interesting person with a broad outlook.

I'd make the subreddit unofficial, too but for other reasons. It is a very unwelcoming place. I'm not the first one who's saying this, but it's really a shame how toxic the /r/golang is.

I never liked the /r/golang subreddit and its atmosphere. But at the moment it's the most active golang community that I'm aware of.

Sorry for a question that is not directly related to the blog post, but anyway. CockroachDB is the only Go project I'm aware of that uses `2 spaces` indentation instead of `tab`s. I'm curious, is there any reason for that?

A platform where random people are collaborating with each other to bootstrap startups. Not difficult from a technical point of view. But it's not clear whether anybody needs it.

I wonder how good a desktop app will work if we drop the JS part altogether and use HTTP and regular client-server architecture (i.e. every click will have to rerender the template)? I guess something like Mozilla's servo can be used f
