the problem isn't what it means to the kids, but what it means to us! It'd mean we'd need to be ID'd. We don't want that.

I dunno, seemed pretty obvious to me. I wanted Harris because I wanted her to finish what biden was doing, and keep people like Lina Khan in. I wanted to see more investment in infrastructure and all that jazz. Seems like a nobrainer.

If they used any open or even popular compiler, then that wouldn't solve anything. Folks would have already figured out how it works, since such encoding would have to be deterministic.

apps built using the webview don't necessarily have to be loaded remotely. If you're building with capacitor, then nothing happens remotely until you choose. The part about being slower is still true though.

I'd like to see more of something like this https://github.com/electric-sql/pglite in combination with a redis/valkey compatible API and then you could still have it run out of the box, but allow folks to poi

They are meaningless for projects like the linux kernel. The linux kernel has no stable kernel API and they aren't supposed to break userspace. There's not that much to semantically version without a stable external API.

a good linter rule would have exceptions for loop variables by context by just by name like i, j, k. Often just by name is good enough at least for a solo dev or small team. I require them to be at least 3 chars EXCEPT those. For example:
