Looks like there's about 1M in volume on Polymarket, so you could definitely dump a good bit of money there if you feel strongly: https://polymarket.com/event/presidential-election-winner-20...

I tend to like the idea of making impossible states impossible, but your particular example seems to have a number of negative tradeoffs. For one, it's more complex than the original data structure - a simple call like .map() is now a

The article has interesting data. But it’s frustrating to read AI generated text like this: > Performance Optimization: Reducing processing overhead while maintaining accuracy What on earth does it mean that this “optimized performance”?

I’m not sure exactly how you mean it, but a lot of the discourse around political violence itself fits in the Overton window of acceptable discourse, so this doesn’t surprise me too much. But I find statements outside of the Overton window

A lot of the frustration I typically hear in this camp is something like “well I shipped a huge refactor that cleaned up all the code, why does no one appreciate that?” One particular interaction that got me thinking was a few years ago lis

I feel that a lot of the times conversations around this topic end up with some anecdote like "well, playing politics doesn't actually work because I work at a dysfunctional company where decisions are made by morons". If you

I haven't tried Manta, though it's hard to imagine anything that could be improved on MZOO. Probably my only complaint is after a year or two of use they tend to lose some of the elasticity, but at $10 you could get at least 4+ ye

Do you think that all managers and tech leads atrophy because they don’t spend all day “doing”? I think a good number of them become more effective because they delegate the simple parts of their work that don’t require deep thought, leavin
