Thanks, I'll take a look. I don't use any advanced features of iTerm, though, I just use it over Terminal.app because it supports 256 colors. We have not been updated to Lion or Mountain Lion at work so Terminal.app is still limited to 16 c

tmux is a CLI terminal multiplexer. As an interactive CLI program, you need a shell to use it. To run such a shell, you need a terminal emulator. iTerm2 is a Mac OS X only GUI terminal emulator. You can run tmux in iTerm2.

See tmux's homepage: http://tmux.sourceforge.net/ Tmux is not only a window manager, it allows me to: * login only once into my VPS and run all kinds of things in parallel * leave a session at work and come back to it at home * run proces

Search is the opposite of an organization tool. It's a tool that allow users to avoid being organized.

I should add that CtrlP is getting better and better over time. Some new (to me, at least) features: * Bookmarking * Quickfix mode * Undo mode * Change mode * RTS mode `:CtrlPBufferTag` is a killer. This plugin seriously rocks.

No. Not owning valuable stuff is nice, too. Losing everything you own because of a basement fire is an eye opening experience.

This code is generated. Doing it by hand would be crazy but letting a script do the work for you is not that crazy. Cufon was the best way to use custom fonts 3 years ago. It apparently worked for these guys when they built their site and i

Unfortuantely for you, this place is a community and where it goes is not for you or me to decide. I'm sick of the whole Apple vs MS vs Google vs Nokia business so I don't click. Easy.

Judging by the number of magazine covers and news segments devoted to this woman, I'd say it's a lot more relevant. I agree with the current top poster: they shouldn't delete anything that doesn't conform to general rules of objectivity.

TextMate's learning curve is desperately short and flat. After 2 or 3 months I knew everything there was to know. The only dark corners could be found inside language-specific bundles which made them rather useless. I've used it non-stop fr

What if it's 'so called nutheads' that you want to change? AFAIK, Sublime Text 2 doesn't provide a shortcut for that. You can do Ctrl+D to select "called" but then what? Extending selection to scope or brackets won't help and you are back t

Whole line completion is very useful when you write very repetitive languages. In CSS, <C-x><C-l> is a gift of the gods.
