This is mind boggling to me. Kayvon is one of the best product leaders / visionaries I know. It was confusing to me in Dec that he wasn't Jack's successor. Kayvon was a huge driving force behind all the interesting product ef

My 1999 Honda CR-V I bought in college still runs and I love the simplicity of the interface. Air controls are a three evenly spaced knobs and a few buttons. The instrument cluster has everything you need with easy to read physical gauges (

Great to see this! Not to the same scale as seizure but using buymeacoffee.com for OSS donations PayPal would lock my account every month or two until I uploaded a bunch of documents (which were always the same docs each time). Each time it

+1 I love homebrew. I just set up my new M1 Max machine and half of the setup work was just brew commands to install cli stuff and casks <3. It's such a joy to not need to go to a bazillion websites to download dmgs

I use brew for system cli tools (eg wget, ffmpeg) and Docker when I need a consistent environment (eg to match what I run in production)

I am one of those people. I bought an 8gb M1 Air last month for a project (while I waited for the new models to be released). It baffles me how well this little computer performs with less RAM than I've had in a computer since 2009. I&

HOME ASSIS TANT It's really the only thing that's good in the smart home world rn. It makes all sorts of otherwise crappy IOT hardware work decently together.

If you use Evernote, at some point in the last year or so they started rewriting their spaces an non breaking space characters. I get tripped up almost weekly by some command or code I pasted from my notes

We've tried a handful of things: Rec Room, Population One, Spatial, Echo VR, Beat Saber, Bigscreen, and Immersed. The last few weeks we've been playing Population One together since they have a very simple 6-digit-room-code way of

Yeah you install Virtual Desktop on the Shadow PC and then your Quest can connect directly to it. You do need something other than the Quest to start up the Shadow PC and keep it running (it will shut down automatically if an official Shado

+1 to the Quest 2. Despite Facebook, it's an incredible piece of hardware. We bought them for everyone in my distributed startup and the 8 of us hang out in VR together every week. Virtual Desktop + Shadow PC on the Quest 2 is incredib

No but iirc the terms from @tobi were that the feature needs to be cross-platform and merged into the main OBS codebase. There is work happening on both of these fronts, and absolutely my goal is to get this plugin merged into OBS eventuall

FWIW there's definitely some performance optimization that could be done in my plugin. Three things I know of: 1) Potentially an entire framebuffer memory copy could be avoided if we could get CMBlockBufferCreateWithMemoryBlock to work

Whoa I didn't even know this was an OBS feature and (obviously) I've spent a good bit of time with OBS :) I'll definitely be using this!
