That was a turn off for me personally. While I think more expensive per user (but free for up to 150 emails per day without your own domain name), ProtonMail has "Proton Bridge" that works wonderfully for me on Windows 7/11.

Its politics. Good luck trying to convince someone in larg corp they don't need Oracle with other open source databases out there. There is just too many people in line on both sides that job and salary and bonuses depends on the deals

bingo. it either landed somewhere secretly or crashed. In both situation there was nothing aboard, secret cargo or important politicians, that would justify unveiling of their capabilities to track everything everywhere at all times.
