The other posts by this author also look very promising. Thorough, not afraid of theoretical backgrounds, and very insightful. Will be revisiting this site when I can spend some time without interruption.

Possibly, the better understanding of the problem domain would make a rewrite from scratch better than the existing stuff. That the improvements have little to do with the language in which the newly conceived solution was implemented.

Absolutely fricking cool. Would need to learn some extra text editor tricks, however, to make it a smooth experience...

Looks awesome, but you might want to say this explicitly on the landing page. I also came here to the comments to ask why I would want to hand over account information on an unrelated service.

Not in the languages that I am familiar with. the big question is, whether it is before or after The Comma. The Comma does not need more qualifiers than that.

Thanks, but that leaves doubt whether you wrote a decimal or thousands separator. It is close to 5000 liters.

Mosh is a replacement for ssh (the client), but not for sshd, as it relies on it to make a connection. OpenSSH also is not meant to be replaced, which also has not been claimed in your link. Please pay attention to semantics while fencing w

Sweet! You might consider using this command for a more human digestible listing: $ stty -a | awk 'BEGIN{RS="[;\n]+ ?"}; /= ..$/' intr = ^C quit = ^\ erase = ^? kill = ^U eof = ^D

Nitpick, sorry. `ctime` is not Creation Time, but Change Time. The traditional *NIX file systems do not have a meta data field for creation time.

Was interested to see what this is about, but the lack of contrast between letters and background put me off to make the effort to even try and get the point. Please, people who make an effort: Please do not do so in vain.

Honest question: Is there any benefit of using tmux over a proper tiling window manager? Or, why would I want to delegate some of the window manager tasks to a terminal emulator?
