The argument Robin Williams character is presenting is roughly that reading about experiences as a young person is less genuine than personally living through said experiences. Perhaps that there's more merit to a belief when it comes

I think using ones circle of friends voting habits as a proxy for the rest of the country is a doomed premise to begin with, respectfully. Someone else could come in here with the exact opposite anecdote; it's just not a very interesti

Waste and sanitation jobs in Toronto start at $39k and get up to $120k+ if you’re driving the truck and leading a team I would imagine we actually pay our municipal employees proportionally _more_ than we did back then.

I don't think there's a Swiss bank account in the world with room for $240b. There's no doubt Maduro enjoyed some taste of the froth, but this is a silly oversimplification.

I'm advocating that if people present a written text for others to consume, they should specify whether an LLM or a human produced it. I think that's super reasonable, you don't?

This is an interesting one. I live in NYC and have spent lots of time in Spain - the cost of living differential is easily within the 2-3x range, maybe more if you're talking housing specifically. I can't confidently say whether o
