Why a PDF? The PDF is just pictures of things that link to an external site (Thingverse, various blogs, etc) where you find the actual instructions. The PDF itself doesn't contain instructions at all - just an index/catalog, reall

They are making this increasingly difficult, though. I bought a Vizio TV years ago that came with a physical remote. At some point the firmware was updated in a way that the physical remote could only perform limited function, and to do any

The thing I like about markdown is that it's very readable as just a raw format. With the bonus that it's easily converted to HTML. But it doesn't need to be converted to HTML. I guess this sort of falls under the "But

Agreed. And ideally that shouldn't matter. But in the real world there are other consequences and side effects. Maybe I don't want to make them uncomfortable. Maybe I just don't want to deal with the nagging, "busting my

There's many occasions where I don't want to drink, but not doing so can make things uncomfortable. It's unfortunate, but there's lots of occasions where abstaining can make other people uncomfortable, or cause them to g

This doesn't seem correct. I checked a few flights I have coming up and it identified a United flight as not being a MAX, when United itself tells me it is. And it identifies a Southwest flight as being a MAX when it isn't.

I'm skeptical that hashtags are really a good way to measure these things. They seem rather arbitrary in some cases (particularly that second link). It seems like it would be pretty easy to selectively choose specific hashtags to give

This site links to Wordnik, which is a great site, but lately I've been using WordHippo to find similar words or narrow in on a word that better fits what I'm describing. The way it groups by meaning is much more convenient. Rhyme

You can acknowledge and treat it without "using it as an excuse". And there's certainly no need to define yourself by it. Imagine having that same mindset with other treatable disorders. Cataracts. Eczema. Addison’s disease.
