This reminds me of some advice I received from a previous manager. He said that decisions are impossible to make in any meeting larger than 5 people, so I vowed to really pay attention to my invite list and pair it down where possible. His

You mention the censorship and info control of the “ruling class” and the “anarcho-tyrannical regime”, but this exact scenario is already happening today and being driven by roving bands of online Leftists. I agree with your premise that ba

This is by design as most EU data privacy/competition laws are thinly veiled attempts to extract bribe money from large US tech firms. Sadly, the US gov is also following down this road.

I’m talking about a few people I know personally who happen to be cops (some white dudes, some POCs). Obviously this is anecdotal, as is the original comment I replied to. However, I did experience profiling several times when I was younger

Also imagine that your profession has become so highly politicized that many people actually hate you based on some misguided ideology vs how you have actually comported yourself while on the job. While I respect law enforcement, you couldn

I’ve had a completely different experience than you. Cops who I’ve known have been pretty normal, compassionate people. They routinely tell me the most important skill in effective law enforcement is your ability to communicate.

They are talking about total comp which is usually base salary + bonus + stock (RSUs). As the person above mentioned, 50% or more of that $500-600K is most likely made up of stacked stock grants. Even if you sell your RSUs right away, a gra
