What I've wondered through all this is whether he intends to bring in different contractors than than were there before to replace everyone he is firing or causing to quit. Contractors are more disposable and often cheaper.

XTDB has a new version coming out which will support, as I understand it, more SQL friendly interaction for those who want it.

Keep at it... it's important to have multiple options, and I know the OP would likely encourage you to keep at it. Of course, make it open source as they did, if you can. :-)

As someone who cares for a blind father, I can't stomach the decision to eliminate the accessibility team. I am myself moving to Mastodon. I was amazed in doing this that the UI/UX of Mastodon is much better than Twitter. I feel b

The Clojurians slack is... invite only? Not now, not ever. There's some kind of slack boilerplate sign up thing but it's the same as all Slack channels.

Genuinely consider looking at your non-Apple options. Seriously. I've had many, many macs, but recently they forced me into looking at other options, and they are stunning. Especially in terms of price and ports.

Haha. Too little, too late. Screw Apple and their total wholesale abandonment of the professional user. It turns out they didn't care a bit for the loyal users that made them what they are. I don't want to spend thousands on a lap

I haven't yet seen a third party device that allows you to create a clip of a given length, record into it, and have it loop. You can do this in software if you want to sit on your laptop in front of your audience. You can do the BinkL

Be aware, that in reality, for live performance, you have to buy a costly Push device. This is if you want to create live loops of a specified length and have them start playing automatically. They crippled this feature in the DAW so that y

This is one of the huge blind areas of Ableton, and one that they chose not to address in 11. You do have to use the Push to launch clips of a specified length in live performance. There have been very complicated workarounds built by third
