Sure, I'm perfectly ready to admit I'm shit at it. I just don't want this to have to be something I good at.

Per gp, it's consumption. Perhaps you haven't been eating enough steel to appreciate the demand.

I was referring to the family / kids but more than the 10 years. If what you're saying is "that's what I'm looking for but I wouldn't say it..." I dunno, that seems like exactly the sort of thing people wo

Fwiw this perspective (talking about expectations of age, family status, background as conditions) would get you kicked as far away as possible from any hiring decisions where I work. I think mostly for legal / dei reasons to my unders

Isn't YouTube operating at a larger scale? I'd think certainly in terms of storage and unique bytes served, maybe comparable in terms of total bytes served? Or maybe I'm way underestimating the size of the Netflix library, bu

They haven't made this assumption, they've explicitly stated there was not sufficient data but acknowledged that other people not covered by the survey exist.

It's weirdly both such a big number and such a small number. 15k is a ton for many people and probably well more than the inconvenience this one guy suffered. But it's insubstantial compared to the cost of this case turning into a

Sure, but none of this is free. That's all extra work that has to happen. The fact that I'm doing it in "down time" doesn't make it free, I have a million other things I could theoretically do at any given down time

The usg, for whatever that piece of software says on the tin. Unless you are just asking if there is any closed source software anywhere which provides value not totally replicable using oss, which seems like a silly question.

Frankly in my experience the literal opposite is true. I and the people around me trust technology less and less with time.

I've become a big Google meet shill. It works great, it's easy to get people onto it, quality is quite good. I've heard it can fall apart with really big groups of people, but never had any problems up to about 10, and beyond

And even once this is over, I think it's pretty often the speed limits and not the people driving over them that are in the wrong. I don't think slowing everyone down is a useful goal unless we adjust the limits up first.

I agree, but I don't think that would be a good thing. I suppose if the end result was that speed limits got adjusted up 5-10 mph to match the speed of the road it would be fine. I doubt this would happen in general, and I know it woul

I'd argue that it's almost never correct to drive the speed limit. In the US at least they are almost universally slower than the natural speed of the road by 5-10 mph and everyone speeds a bit all the time.
