What's the virtualization technology (Xen, KVM, OpenVZ, etc.)? Are the boxes running ECC RAM? Can we install and run our own kernel?

Thanks for starting the blog! As a fellow chumby enthusiast, I've been meaning to shoot you an email asking for more detail on your cross-compiled-go-for-chumby setup. I had plans to drop some I2C eeprom chips on a pcengines ALIX x86 SBC (

I'm using prgmr and buddyns as secondaries to my djbdns primary. axfrdns (part of the djbdns package) handles the zone transfer requests, and I can force a transfer with a really simple perl script.

I don't think you'll be running a LAMP stack on any of those microcontroller based boards. How about something from Olimex? https://www.olimex.com/Products/OLinuXino/iMX233/iMX233-OLin... looks close, but the price is a bit higher than yo

My little personal VPS (non-recursive!) DNS server has been asked to participate in one of these DDoS attacks before; the incoming requests for isc.org tipped me off. I guess they didn't notice that my server wasn't sending replies.

Weird: clinking the link reliably BSODs my box. Win2k, Opera 12.02 or Firefox 11.0! I remember seeing the same thing last week with the original article, and wrote it off as a fluke. First hard crash I've had in months.
