Sorry "depict historical accuracy". Seriously? It is a game, it doesn't depict anything accurately. I don't find offensive, but I can that people would; I don't think a WW2 game is particularly amusing for the peopl

Apple sells these products (and takes a 30% cut), so they have some responsibility for what they are selling. They don't want to offend anyone, so they made a list of rules. Their review team interprets rules literally. We may shake ou

Yeah, pointers are double size, but the majority of RAM for iOS apps is used by images and other resources. These do not grow in size. Most apps are not using tens of megabytes for pointer based graph-structures etc. or code. They are howev

In that case, I stand corrected and I am sorry about that. However, it does sound like it would be really easy for the US government to convince everybody that citizens should also have their finger prints scanned to confirm their identity.

I am sorry, but I think you are assuming a little bit too much here. You are guestimating that 4000 gold phones were sold in the stores based on a 10 per store rumored number you've heard and 400 stores. Then you guess that retail is o

When you enter the US, you've had to give your finger prints for many years now. I've even been scanned once leaving. That means they have a database of all US and non -US citizen's who has entered the country. I am not a US

No, but Apple probably sold most of their phones via their web site and not from retail stores. Otherwise each retail store would have sold 20000 phones by the reverse of your math. So 4000 is probably not a very accurate estimate either...

So the big question is, how hard is it to get at 2400 DPI finger print? They don't show if they can scan the finger print off the phone. I would imagine that it could be quite tricky to get that level of resolution. I would like to see

It takes a lot to hit that RAM barrier on iOS with code. Yes 64-bit code takes up more space than 32-bit code, but the majority of memory is not used for code. It is used for images etc. -- Most apps do not use large amounts of memory for

I wouldn't call a drop of 16000 in 2012 "astounding". It is 0.5% of the entire workforce. 6000 of those 16000 were from the public sector, so it was really just 10000 workplaces lost in the private sector in 2012 (Jan-Nov). I
