Great link, he also discusses the start of his lab. The discovery of bioelectricity induced eye "modeling" was ..kinda crazy. Also, I've been trying to find people to discuss this, so I set up a discord server: https:/&

That was my first question. Somehow people thought that a tool able to generate an entire fullstack app from a few sentences is not capable of inferring needs based on context or customer directly.

Interesting, just the other day I tried asking if iterating in haskell or prolog wouldn't help both converging speed and token use. I wish there was a group to study how to do proper engineering with LLMs without losing the modeling &#

Can't find the links right now, but there were some papers on llm generating prolog facts and queries to ground the reasoning part. Somebody else might have them around.

I think there's a lack of understanding. If Nyxt is trying to be the emacs of web browsers, it's very much removed from the "product mindset", it's more about somehow coherent capabilities than a product with market

I'm curious about your experience, I like SQLAlchemy granularity and expressiveness, but after a while I found django fits the "good enough" niche very well, it's quick and not too dirty (the name wrangling for joins is

Fun to see Dan's videos :) (he made a lot about solar concentration too) On a larger scale, there's this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AI3HE7BcIBk&pp=ygUQbW9zcXVpd... about mosquito factories

And there's a part of me that kinda think "lots of money will mean some large scale investments in labs that might result in some rare findings". Even though the hype + investor chase feels very shallow to me too.

Long ago I thought that, at least for very generic / task-agnostic operations such as wiping, moving, duplicating chunks of memory, a chip-on-dimm could be of use (but maybe this is already the case and I don't know about it)
