I keep my browser zoomed in substantially to compensate for uncorrectable vision issues. I’d say perhaps once per day I’ll encounter a website that has never had zoom in/out (ctl +/-) tested because if you zoom up even one level f

Mullvad has explicitly given their reasoning. That's the evidence. Now the burden of evidence is on you to show that these things are connected since you are the one challenging Mullvad's claim.

I mostly agree with you, but I’ve come to appreciate that there was a period of time in the Middle Ages where the Catholic Church held the fabric of society together in their corner of the world. I think much more knowledge from antiquity

The last one I remember was after the 2011 tsunami. I think things are worse these days because memory isn’t just a chip that you toss on a board anymore, it’s now frequently delivered in the same package as the CPU.

Storing a bunch of passwords in a plain-text list that an individual can access violates zero-trust AND least-privilege which I think a red team might have some opinions on.

I’m not buying hosting from a password manager, I’m buying security. I don’t have complete confidence that I can secure a self-hosted password manager and it’s not an area where I want to take risks.
